Diego Ferri - Sound Engineer · Producer

Diego Ferri is a musician, sound engineer, producer, and educator based in Berlin. He works closely with artists across experimental and electronic music - shaping recordings, designing live performances, and building the custom instruments and workflows each project demands.

He tours regularly as a performing musician, FOH and monitor engineer across Europe, Asia, and America, moving without friction between studio and stage, between established tools and innovative ones.

Trained in Bologna - recording engineer at Fonoprint, teacher at Percorsi Audio - and based in Berlin since 2007, he is embedded in the city's experimental and DIY scene, working across electronic and indie music and performing solo and in ensembles.

Child Protection Policy

Eigenklang Workshop Programme - Safeguarding Framework

The Eigenklang programme works with children and young people. The protection of all participants is the highest priority. This framework applies to all programme formats and is reviewed regularly.

Principles

The wellbeing and safety of participants comes first. All workshop formats are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment. Discrimination, physical or psychological harm are not tolerated.

Instructor qualifications

Extended criminal record check (erweitertes Führungszeugnis, § 72a SGB VIII) - held and renewed regularly. First aid qualification - refreshed every two years. Several years of experience working with children and young people in cultural and educational settings.

Supervision and safety

Maximum group sizes are set per age group and format. Children under 12 are taught only in the presence of an additional adult supervisor provided by the booking institution. Tools and components are used in an age-appropriate manner; risk assessments are documented.

Consent and information

Parents and guardians receive full written information before the start of each course: programme content, materials, safety measures, and photography policy. Photos for public communications are only taken with explicit written consent.

Incident procedures

In cases of suspected child endangerment, the Berlin Child Protection Act is applied and relevant authorities are notified. A clear internal reporting procedure is documented and available on request.
